Join Media Distillery as a Front-end Developer and take charge of designing, maintaining and improving the frontend interface of the Media Distillery platform. What you’ll do

As a Front-end Developer, you have a clear vision of the latest technologies and preach the best practices of your field. You will be part of a cross functional team, helping build new innovative products, and pitching your ideas to key decision-makers. You will share your ideas and inspire others in the team by sharing your knowledge and offering your guidance. But most importantly you will design, develop, test, monitor and expand our front end interface. You build it, you run it.

In sum you will:

  • Design, build and maintain our demo platform, helping our sales team explain our products.
  • Improve and innovate our internal tools, making them user-friendly and scalable
  • Closely cooperate with the team in understanding and implementing new features to the platform

    Who you are

    • You have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree
    • You are available for 3 days per week
    • You have 3+ years of relevant frontend development experience
    • You have experience with Vue.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Angular, Svelte)
    • You apply modern front-end development practices. 
    • You know your way around version control (e.g. git), automation tool chains (e.g. npm, pnpm, yarn) and testing/debugging frameworks (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Mocha).
    • You use or have experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. SASS, SCSS, LESS)
    • You have experience with Docker, Nginx, CI/CD tools.
    • You have affinity with UX and (interaction) design
    • Sharing your ideas is like a second nature to you
    • You like to work in cross-functional teams and have no problem in taking the lead in frontend development
    • You are fluent in English

    We currently have a three-day-per-week Front-end Development position available. If you are a full stack developer, with relevant experience like K8S, Terraform, Java or Python we can provide you with a full-time employment contract.
