Media Distillery has won the Project Kairos Award at the Cable Congress in Dublin. Roland Sars, CEO of Media Distillery received the prize from Caroline van Weede Managing Director and Matthias Kurth, Executive Chairman at Cable Europe, the organiser of Cable Europe.

The professional Jury, led by Neil Illingworth from Virgin Media, spoke highly of Media Distillery: “They have created a platform which can demonstrate existing use cases yet also has a lot potential for other markets. The solid and easy-to-understand presentation of the platform will appeal to investors. We believe that Media Distillery has a high potential for future partnerships.”

Media Distillery pitched a number of products and services, such as their ‘EPG Correction’, ‘Episodic Images’, ‘Snackable Content’ and ‘Binge Markers’ that will enable TV Operators to enhance the consumer experience in their replay environments and provide the perfect Video-On-Demand experience for consumers.

Project Kairos is a global startup initiative that aims to connect startups with industry and investment to empower the next disruptors and success stories in technology. It was the first time Project Kairos came to Cable Congress.
