These nominations are a testament to the work we do every day at Media Distillery: empowering video services to deliver faster, smarter, and more intuitive discovery experiences for their viewers. And it’s not the first time our innovations have been acknowledged. We’re proud winners of two CSI Awards in 2024, one in 2023 and another in 2022.
Preview Distillery, launched in late 2024, is an AI-powered solution that automatically generates short, meaningful video previews from live and on-demand content. These generative clips offer viewers a quick, accurate sense of what a programme is about, without the need for manual editing. It’s a breakthrough for streaming platforms and TV operators aiming to reduce search fatigue, boost engagement, and help users discover more of what they love. The solution also enables highly scalable preview generation across both linear and VOD formats.
Our Search and Discovery Suite, released in March 2025, builds on this foundation with an advanced, real-time approach to content discovery. Combining semantic understanding, real-time broadcast analysis, and multimodal AI, the Suite delivers more relevant search results across all formats - from live TV to replay and on-demand libraries. The result: reduced churn, increased monetisation opportunities, and more satisfied viewers.The CSI Awards winners will be revealed on 12 September 2025 at a ceremony during IBC in Amsterdam. Being shortlisted alongside other standout innovators is a proud milestone, and a moment of celebration for the entire Media Distillery team.
