For the second consecutive year, Media Distillery has won a renowned CSI Awards. Media Distillery's solution Topic Distillery™ was nominated in the 'Best use of AI or Machine Learning in video' category, where it won first place.
Topic Distillery™ enables broadcasters, pay-TV operators, and OTT streamers to provide their viewers with faster access to relevant content. Doing so by providing automatic topic detection and enabling chapters-based playback through the use of automatically generated chapter markers and titles. This way, viewers can easily jump to the chapter they find interesting and skip parts that aren't interesting, thus resulting in an increase in discoverability and overall viewing time.
The highly anticipated CSI Awards organised by the Cable and Satellite International magazine, are prestigious annual awards ceremony which promotes recognition for excellence in the cable, satellite and broadcast industry.
